The village of Lackenhof, nestled at an elevation of 810 meters above sea level, rests in a picturesque side valley right at the base of the Ötscher mountain. This location provides an ideal setting for year-round getaways in the heart of nature.
During the summer months, Lackenhof caters to both nature enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation. Well-marked hiking trails and mountain biking routes, suitable for all skill levels, wind their way around Ötscher village.
Come winter, Lackenhof transforms into a captivating ski destination with a wide range of options, particularly well-suited for families. From the Sunny Kids Park with its magic carpet for beginners to challenging black slopes, there’s something for every skier. Ski schools and equipment rental facilities are conveniently available to guests directly in Lackenhof. Off the slopes, winter sports enthusiasts can explore 33 kilometers of meticulously groomed cross-country ski trails, 12 kilometers of winter hiking paths, and three permanent snowshoe hiking trails.
